Draw Something - Tips & Tricks

         

Try to use lots of colors:

Use as many colors as possible. this will make the drawing better understandable and easier te guess for your fellow players.

Don't leave any details:

Try to not forget to draw the smaller details in the drawing. these details often leads to the point where the Draw Something words are guest.

Try to use arrows:

Use arrows to point at things in the picture. this way, your fellow player knows exactly what you mean in the drawing.

Color of the background

Draw your background first, then your foreground. this saves you a lot of time to make corrections. This is sometimes necessary for an object to the front or background to drop.

Think "outside the box"

There are so many things you can draw when seeing a word. But doing that little bit extra is going to be worth it. Drawing skills is almost never necessary.

There is no clock!

Does it matter that it takes you a few minutes longer? No it doesn't. There is no time. Removing your entire drawing is sin. Sometimes it is better to have a little re-adjust.

Watch other Draw Something players

Watch how other DrawSomething players draw there drawings. you can check Draw Something Facebook and Draw Something Twitter. this way, you can get inspiration from other drawings and use it for the next time.

Don't draw for yourself:

Don't draw for yourself, but draw for your fellow player. Try to draw the picture in a way he or she would understand it.

Think logically:

The answer to the drawing is often obvious. Think not too difficult.

Use clues:

You can write a word that points out to a clue of the drawing. this way it is easier to understand your drawing.
